I’m in Munich for two days at the roadsurfer HQ, where we’re planning 2027, and since I’m here anyway, I’m making time for the team too, with a get-together tomorrow night. On Wednesday I’ll leave before dawn.

As a small kid, I saw the Olympic Tower and the BMW building (not pictured) when my parents drove us through Munich on the way to summer vacation, and I still remember it vividly. Now I’m looking at the tower from my accommodation. Funny.
The drive down took four and a half hours, non-stop and door to door. When the whole route is 370 km south on one highway, the A9, I can spend half of it in meetings on audio, which makes the day a lot shorter than it looks on the map.
