On Friday Nadine threw me a surprise party and managed to reach lots of friends we went to school with twenty years ago, but also new friends we made more recently.
I was blown away by all the lovely things Nadine had prepared, table tennis, beer pong, tents, drinks, and a photo wall with photos from 40 years that she collected from friends and family. I didn’t take many photos that night to showcase here. I photographed each guest or pair of guests for more photos to look at when I turn 50 in ten years.
We celebrated outside on our property, with a campfire and goulash over an open fire. Since it started late, the boys stayed overnight at Nadine’s parents’.
