First Ride

The garden looked like a mess and a few things were still left over from the remodeling, so today meant for Nadine and me: tearing down the old sandbox, moving soil, moving the big stones, clearing the new planting beds of unwanted newcomers, setting up the eufy E18 mowing robot from scratch because it couldn’t orient itself after the changes, mowing, getting my bike going again after the repair, assembling the mini pool for the kids and the hot days ahead.

Afterwards I went on the first ride of the year with the ROSE, 36.5 km in 1h 21min. Out of shape I wanted to test what I can expect after a year-long break, luckily riding is very easy to get into again here in the Leipzig Bay. I brought the Sony Alpha with the Viltrox 28mm f/4.5 pancake lens to take photos along the way. I need a proper bag for it.
