Went on a stroll with Tilian in the forest and met a nice couple along the way, they came down from Biberach in southern Germany by bicycle, around 550 kilometres over the last days, and continue to Leipzig. They are birders, so we spent ten minutes talking about the local population and their sightings from the last days. After I told them that bee-eaters are around they got overly excited and went off looking for them.

Tilian and me continued, five minutes later we heard a large flock and saw them, the cyclists had gone in the exact opposite direction.
