Dragon Touch
We got a Dragon Touch 27" digital display to use as a family calendar. My original plan was to build something with an e-ink display and a Raspberry Pi Zero, but this felt like the faster path.
SONY · DSC-RX100M7A · 9mm · ƒ/2.8 · 1/30s · ISO 1600The display is integrated into our road trip map wall, at a height the kids can reach. It connects to all the common calendar providers without much friction. For now Tilian can only read the calendar, which also includes our adult appointments, but there is a separate checklist function where the kids can see their daily schedule with emoji, things like TV time and bedtime.
What I am less convinced by is the usability, and the translations are, I think, the worst I have seen on any product I own. It is the most Chinese thing I have ever bought, even less polished than my Chinese solar inverters. Whether it stays on the wall is still an open question.
