We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday, a relaxed day with lunch, a walk, cake and drinks. We gave her a 13" iPad Air M3 because her iPad from 2017 doesn’t get updates anymore after nine years. She switched to the tablet a few years ago, no laptop, no PC, she does everything on the iPad. I could not be bothered to be the IT guy for her old Windows laptop.
I started Control Resonant, the one I was worried about being melee only, and the game is one big skill check. Melee feels fun and enemies still feel overpowered, there’s an indication that combos and buff stacking are a necessity.
Tilian is deep into LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which came out on the Switch 2 last week. The production value is really high, it plays like an Arkham Knight successor for kids and the performance on the Switch 2 is great.
