Paving

We did it! Nadine and I laid our first paving. Where the old sandbox used to be, we dug a hole like pros, filled it with two kinds of gravel - yes you can use more than one, 16mm and 4mm, frost-proof and at the right thickness. Then we laid pre-cut paving stones in a circle, jointed with sand. Now the grass just needs to grow back and the garden is almost done for this year. The focus at the house is slowly shifting inside and to the upper floor. Nadine has a lot of good ideas to realize already.
