trip Back

England, Day 2

The day nicely separated into three activities and peak busyness: we went to the RSPB Pulborough Brooks to take pictures, visited Dan (Hi Dan!), Jasper’s business partner, and went to the movies to see Project Hail Mary (second time).

I need to come back to the RSPB Pulborough Brooks nature reserve, hopefully in summer with Nadine and the kids. It is so well maintained and you can spend a full day there sneaking on and off the paths. The people volunteering there care about the local fauna and take pride in their work. On the way out they ask you which birds you spotted and put it on a whiteboard where they record all daily sightings - Jasper had the honor to have his bullfinch sighting added to the board. The Canon 1DX Mark II has been a reliable driver for today, it works so well and I am happy about the ability the camera gives me.
